The Amazon leading-series is in production for its newest season, and two new supes have been announced: Soldier Boy and Crimson Countess.
Jensen Ackles, well-known for its role of Dean Winchester in “Supernatural”, will play Soldier Boy, the first superhero celebrity, after having fought in World War II. Eric Kripke, showrunner of “The Boys”, served as the showrunner for “Supernatural” in the series first five seasons, and he stated that he could not wait to work with Ackles again.
The other new supe is Crimson Countess, who will be played by “The Walking Dead” star Laurie Holden. There is no background story for the Countess yet, but from the promotional photo we can imagine that she is strong and resilient... ready to shake things up!
