The long-awaited “John Wick” prequel has officially cast Mel Gibson and Colin Woodell.
It will tell the story of the famous Continental Hotel, the 'safe house' for all the assassins that can find a place to rest and make arrangements before the next hit.
The TV series, which consists of only three episodes, will center on a young Winston Scott and what led him to New York City and to the Continental in the 1970s.
Colin Woodell will play Winston, while Mel Gibson will star in the role of a character named Cormac.
The TV series is produced by Starz, and Keanu Reeves will work in the project as an executive producer.
There is no premiere date yet; but the fourth chapter of “John Wick” is currently filming with a planned release on May 27, 2022.
