One of the most popular actors across the last 20 years celebrates his 50th birthday today.

The actor known for his roles in American Psycho, The Prestige, The Machinist, and his role as Bruce Wayne in his Dark Knight trilogy, turns 50 today.
Bale is well known for his loss and gain of weight during his filming of The Machinist where he lost 120 pounds and 6 months later he gained 100 pounds to play the Dark Knight in Batman Begins.
Oscar winner in 2011 for best performance by an actor in a supporting role in the film ‘The Fighter’. Looks set to be in 3 films that are still in production.
