The iconic voice of Darth Vader passed away at 93 years old

Actor and voice actor James Earl Jones passed away on Monday, September 9, at the age of 93. The sad announcement was made by his agent. James Earl Jones died at the age of 93 at his home in Dutchess County, New York. The tragic news was reported by CBS News and confirmed by the actor's agent to Variety. The voiceover giant had long suffered from diabetes, but details about the cause of death have not yet emerged. Over a career spanning more than 60 years, James Earl Jones amassed an impressive array of awards, including a Pulitzer Prize, a Tony, an Emmy, a Grammy, and an honorary Oscar. This makes him one of the few artists in the world to achieve the EGOT. He is cherished by the public for lending his voice to the most iconic villain of all time, Darth Vader in the Star Wars saga, as well as to Mufasa in “The Lion King”.
