The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is the title of the new Prime Video series representing Amazon’s adaptation of the iconic saga by J.R.R. Tolkien. The fandom will have surely caught up with all the hidden meanings in choosing this particular title, forecasting a monumental story grouping together the best moments of the legendary adventures of Middle-earth.
The series will be released from the 2nd of September 2022 delivering a new episode each Friday. It will be focusing on what happened during the Second Era of Middle-earth's history, that is to say thousands of years before what happens in The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.
The screenplay is made by J.D.Payne and Patrick McKay, who are also executive producers, and one of the masterminds behind Star Trek. Cast includes Cynthia Addai-Robinson (Arrow), Robert Aramayo (Game of Thrones), Charles Edwards (The Crown), Charlie Vickers (The Medici) and many others excellent actors.
With these premises, we can only set a countdown on our phones because we are all ready to go back to the Middle Land.
