Tom Cruise is returning in his role as agent Ethan Hunt for the new Mission Impossible movie. A movie that now has its official title “Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1” and will be divided into two parts (the second part will probably have the same title but Part 2 instead of 1).
Mission Impossible with Tom Cruise started back in 1996 and was the start of a hugely successful movie franchise. The movies that followed came in 2000, 2006, 2011, 2015, 2018, 2023 and 2024. The ones that come in 2023 and 2024 that are a combined movie but divided into two parts will most likely be the last Mission Impossible movies for Tom Cruise.
The first movies in the series were hugely popular, the third not so much but the franchise got a revival in 2011 and will most likely go out with a bang. As of today the movies combined have grossed around 3,6 billion dollars worldwide.
Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1 is set to premiere 14th of July 2023 and part 2 28th of June 2024.
