Reports are out that Netflix have informed 150 employees that they will be laid off for the streaming giant. This streaming war is coming with consequences, though these layoffs mostly concern employees in the US.
We have so much to watch, mostly thanks to all streaming services like Netflix, HBO, Disney, Amazon, Hulu etc. But all these services come with a cost. One of these is happening at Netflix in this streaming war with 150 people in the US seems to be laid off. Around half of these are rumoured to be a part of Netflix animation department and most of the rest belong to Netflix social media and press-departments. This means that Netflix cut down their staff by around 2%. All this while Netflix reports some of their toughest months in ten years and losing around 200.000 subscribers while also reporting of losing around two million more before the end of the year.
