In February 2022 the 72nd edition of the Berlin International Film Festival will take place. One of the largest film festivals in the world attracts visitors from around the world during the eleven days the festival continues on. The festival of course centers around movies but also the involvement with its audience and expert panels.
In 1951 the Festival started at the beginning of the Cold War and the possibility to unite a divided city at the time. The Berlin Festival has since its creation developed into a place where intercultural exchange can take place but is also viewed as the most political of all major film festivals. Its core is the celebration of cultural art and brings both international stars to the event but also discover new talents. This year's festival will be no different as there will be movies, actors and directors you recognize but also ones for the future during these eleven days.
The Berlin International Film Festival starts 10th of February and continues on until 20th of February 2022.
