Since 2011 Chris Hemsworth has played the role as Thor, the god of thunder in the Marvel Universe. With his latest Thor: Love and Thunder Hemsworth hinted this might be his last time playing the role as Thor.
Chris Hemsworth as Thor is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel universe, both in his solo-movies but also when teaming with the likes of Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, The Hulk and Hawkeye in The Avengers. In Thor: Love and Thunder the rumours are that Natalie Portman will be handed the hammer from Thor and take it from there. When being asked how long he thought he would be playing Thor he said:
– The last movie I shot was Thor: Love and Thunder and that might be my last Marvel movie, I am not sure yet.
Thor: Love and Thunder premieres 6th of July 2022.
