Timothee Chalamet is the new Bob Dylan!

The first official photos revealing Timothee Chalamet's look as Bob Dylan are now circulating meaning filming is underway for the biopic film on the artist's life. Entitled "A Complete Unknown"  and directed by James Mangold (Logan, The Wolverine, Girl Interrupted and Indiana Jones 5) the cast includes other great actors such as Edward Norton and Elle Fanning.

The director has announced that it is not actually a biopic as he will only be focusing on a particular moment in Dylan's life, who seems to have had a hand in adding detailed notes to the script.

The story is based on how Robert Allen Zimmerman, who moved from Minnesota to the Big Apple, emerged into the music scene of the 1960s.

The film, which received the blessing of the famous singer himself, was announced in 2020 but was postponed due to the pandemic and subsequently the Sag-Aftra strike.

In the on-set photos he is seen wearing a military green velvet jacket and a flat cap - a 17 year old boy at the beginning of his career, delivering newspapers with just a few dollars in his pocket.

To the delight of many fans, Timothee Chalamet will sing for this role and has the same vocal coaches that Austin Butler hired to prepare for Elvis.

At the moment we still don't have a specific date for the release in cinemas but after the box office successes of Wonka and Dune Part 2, we can only hope for a third great success for the young actor.  In fact, there are already those talking about an Oscar.
