Tom Hardy has played the role in Venom two times already but is hinting the third one in the series will be his last. While posting what looked to be the moviescript on Instagram Hardy also posted “Last Dance” which might hint this will be his last.
In 2018 and 2021 Venom and Venom: Let there be Carnage saw the light of day. Tom Hardy has played the role as Venom but recently hinted Venom 3 might be his last in the series. This is Sony's own Spider-Man Universe without the hands of Disney, a universe where Venom plays a big part. The last superhero movie released by Sony was Morbius (did not go well, even after being released in theatres two times but also included in this universe). More movies are on the way but if the quality is this low then Tom Hardy’s hint with “Last Dance” might be a good sign of things to come to start looking for something else after Venom 3.
Venom 3 has no official release date as of yet.
