The new installment of the retro inspired anthology horror film V/H/S ‘94 is released as Shudder Original on October 6, 2021. V/H/S series spawned three sequels and debuted at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival showing five stories, some of them more grotesque than others.
Now the V/H/S franchise has returned to the screens with a fourth entry bringing back the 90s look and its home footage aesthetic this time exclusively for the horror streaming service Shudder. The concept is similar to the previous movies taking us back to when a SWAT team finds video tapes inside a death cult’s hideout. Directed by different filmmakers around the world, Jennifer Reeder, Chloe Okuno, Simon Barrett, Ryan Prows, and Timo Tjahjanto, found footage genre makes a comeback with V/H/S 94’.
