Guess Tim Burton is coming back to his original style. The director of Beetlejuice, The corpse bride, and Edward Scissorhands is bringing back the iconic horror-comedy of the Addams Family to the little screen, this time however centered around the little weirdo Wednesday.
The series, called indeed "Wednesday" will mark the return of Christina Ricci in the family as a yet unknown role and the young Jenna Ortega as the spooky protagonist.
The series will follow Wednesday and her struggle to fit in the Nevermore Academy, while simultaneously learn to deal with her new psychic powers, and investigate the murders of his parents 25 years prior.
The series is distributed by Netflix but by now we don't know the release yet. Maybe a little surprise for Halloween 2022?
