Just two years after the series came to an end, a “Supernatural” prequel series titled “The Winchesters” is heading back to TV. The story about two brothers Dean and Sam Winchester became one of the most popular ghost-hunting shows in television history. It lasted 15 seasons and 327 episodes. So now the new story begins.
“The Winchesters” tells the story of Sam and Dean Winchester's parents, Mary Campbell and John Winchester. The prequel series will explore how they met and how they began hunting monsters, demons, and other supernatural beings before passing that lifestyle on to their sons.
And one of the sons one is returning: Jensen Ackles, who played Dean Winchester in “Supernatural” will be a narrator in a new series, but according to the new image, will show up in some episodes. Fans hope they will see all of the iconic characters. "The Winchesters" will premiere on October 11.
