Who are in contention for awards at this year’s Cannes film festival!

After the Academy Awards the film festival in Cannes with its Palme d’Or is the most prestigious film award in the business. This while also being less predictable than the Oscars while also being quite controversial. Especially as the jury often consists of actors and directors not going the same direction.

The Palme d’Or has been handed out since 1955 and is often regarded as a pinnacle and comes with a lot of prestige for those who win.
