After years of preparation between scriptwriting and pre-production for her debut as a director, Madonna's last step is to find the actress to play the iconic singer Madonna in the biopic about her life.
It seems that for the role the director reduced the options to: Florence Pugh, from Midsommar and Oscar nominee for Little women, Julia Gerner, after the success of Ozark and Inventing Anna, Euphoria stars Alexa Demie and Sydney Sweeney, as well as Odessa Young and Emma Laird. Singers Bebe Rexha and Sky Ferreira would also appear in the casting options list.
The movie, distributed by Universal, would start its production this year, with intense training for the actress.
