The Shining is one of the most iconic horror movies of our time. Not maybe for physical horror but more psychological terror within family. Now it seems like The Shining will turn into a theatre play in London’s West End with Ben Stiller maybe offered Jack Nicholson's iconic role as Jack Torrance.
The Shining takes us to Overlook Hotel in the US where Jack Torrance (played by Jack Nicholson) will oversee the hotel during the winter while writing on his book. Jack’s wife Wendy (played by Shelley Duvall) and their son Danny (played by Danny Lloyd) follows but this vacation will never be the same for any of them. Ben Stiller is now negotiating for the role as Jack Torrance in Stanley Kubrick’s version of The Shining as it will turn into a theatre play in London’s West End. It is not yet known when the play will premiere.
