Starring Mia Goth, the third horror film “MAXXXINE” of the A24 film series “X” has added an impressive star cast in the upcoming film. Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, Bobby Cannavale, Kevin Bacon and Michelle Monaghan will feature in the upcoming film.
The first film “X” follows Maxine Minx portrayed by Mia Goth, trying to make it as an actress by starring in an adult film in a rented cottage and ends up as the sole survivor in the horror events. The second film “Pearl” deals with the life of the villain Pearl, also portrayed by Mia Goth. The third film “MAXXXINE” follows Maxine, the survivor of the attack, during her journey towards fame set in 1980s Los Angeles. The A24 film will head into production this month, produced by Mia Goth, Jacob Kaffke, Ti West, Kevin Turner and Harrison Kreiss.
Even though the trilogy project had a low budget, the film gained a huge audience by using a low-cost marketing strategy. “X” had its premiere at South by Southwest (SXSW) also revealing that the sequel of “X” had already been shot and that “MAXXXINE” was in the works.
The A24 film will head into production this month, produced by Ti West, Mia Goth, Jacob Kaffke, Kevin Turner and Harrison Kreiss but is still yet to be announced when the film will premiere.
