In a quirky twist of fate, Zac Efron might just find himself walking in Matthew Perry's oversized shoes, this time on the big screen.
Perry, known for his wit on and off the set, had a posthumous wish for a biopic about his life, with Efron at the top of his casting list for the younger version of himself. During the glitz and glamour of the red carpet for his upcoming film The Iron Claw, Efron spilled the beans to Entertainment Tonight, expressing his "huge honor" at the idea. "Matthew is simply the best guy in the world. I'd be honored to do it," Efron enthused.

It seems Perry's premonition for Efron to step into his shoes came from their time together on the set of 17 Again. Speaking to People Magazine, Efron fondly recalled his time working with Perry, expressing gratitude for the late actor's mentorship and comedic wisdom. "I mean, filming 17 Again was surreal. I learned so much from him. He was a comedic maestro."
Perry, beloved for his role as Chandler Bing on the iconic show Friends, left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry. Despite his departure, his desire for a biopic and the tantalizing prospect of Efron embodying his younger self in the film remain a captivating notion in Hollywood circles.
