To start with, a fact in favour of her acting career, despite never being awarded by the Academy and never receiving major awards, her roles have made her the first performer in the world to have starred in four of the only six films in history that have grossed over $2 billion at the box office (Avatar, Avengers: Endgame, Avatar: The Way of Water, and Avengers: Infinity War).
She is American, multilingual, and loves Italy?
With a Puerto Rican mother and Dominican father, the actress was born as Zoë Yadira Saldaña Nazario, but today her official name is Zoë Yadira Saldaña-Perego because in 2013 she married the Italian director Marco Perego (a former injured soccer player), with whom she has had three children.
She debuted in a TV series?
Although she is known to everyone thanks to the James Cameron franchise and the Guardians of the Galaxy in the Marvel universe, our dear Zoe appeared in the final episode of the ninth season of Law & Order in the role of Belinca back in 1999, a full ten years before winning the hearts of fans as the beautiful Neytiri. She also gained some visibility thanks to her role in the film Crossroads (2002), in which she acted alongside Britney Spears.
Will we see her soon in theaters?
Surely, our Neytiri will return to the big screen for the return of the Na'vi in Avatar 3, scheduled for the end of 2024. It also appears that she will be working again with the Russo brothers in their next film, "The Bluff," a pirate film of the survival-action genre.
